Birth Control Question - December 27th 2009, 06:01 PM

I just started taking Alesse 28 tablets last month.
Today is the first day that Im to start taking the sugar pills.
I was wondering when I was supposed to get my period.
Like it is now, when I start to take the sugar pills or when I'm done the sugar pills and am starting the new pack.

Thank-you

everything will be okay
in the end
if it's not okay
its not the end.

Hey-

Personally, my understanding is it depends on the person. For me, when I start taking the placebo, it takes two or three days then I'll get my period. I have a friend who gets hers nearly when she's done with the sugar pills.

If by the time you're on to the actual pills again you haven't gotten your period, I'd ring your doctor. But it should be fine. =)

Maria.

I don't have sugar pills but when I stop taking my pill and have my 7 day break it takes 4 days for my period to come and then that lasts 7 days.

It is different for everyone but mine is like clockwork I can tell you a rough time when my period will come as well as the day.

I don't have placebo pills but when I have my week's break it usually takes 3 days after my last pill for it to come on but then when I start taking the pill again my period still goes on for a few more days.

I was on Alesse 28 tablets as well. When I finished my actual pills, and started the sugar pills I got my period on the Wednesday or Thursday of that week. Then it lasted til Saturday night or Sunday morning.

But everyone is different. This is just what happened to me.

I'm on microgynogon30 and when i stop taking my pills for the 7 day break, i usually have my peroid 2 or 3 days after but everyone is different, and pills are different. Give it a while of being on the pill and you will realsie what is right for you
