Accutane?

I've been on Accutane (well, Claravis and Amnesteem, the generic versions) since August. I'm fine now, and my face has really cleared up, but when I first went on it it messed me up pretty bad. The first week I was on it I had unbearable back pain to the point where I could hardly move, and my appetite was completely knocked out. I didn't eat for 4 days and lost about [Edit by Lizzie: removed weight number] pounds in a week. I think it messed up my thoughts, too. I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years, and was completely in love with him before I started taking it. Now I've gained back the weight, got my boyfriend back, just still have some back pain when I wake up in the morning sometimes. So anyway, that's my experience with it, I was just wondering if anyone else wanted to share an experience with it, I'm curious as to how it's affected others. Thanks!

I was on it a few years ago. Nothing bad in particular happened to me. I'm super sensitive to medications as it is. I got a few nose bleeds and it made my chapped lips worse.. I have alot of other medical problems but accutane didn't do anything to make them any worse.

I loved it. It was great. Covered by my insurance.. only had to take 2-4 pills a day for a few months and my face was completely fine. I dunno, I think it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
