This definitely sounds like a urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink a lot of cranberry juice and see your gynecologist right away!

I totally have to agree with the previous poster, it definitely sound like a Urinary Tract Infection. If i were you, I'd go to the doctors as soon as possible and get it checked out; it can lead to, if not treated with antibiodics a really bad kidney infection that's really painful and may require a few hours of hospitalization and you could also get a fever. (I know this because i just recovered from one of these last week) I ended up going to the hospital with a 104 fever and they had to give me an iv and stuff...the sooner you get it looked at the better. The antibiodics take about two to three days to kick in, at least for me that's how long they took, you'll probably have them for a week or so. Cranberry juice, things like apple sauce helps as well as gatorade (I spelt that wrong, sorry) i hope this helps and I'm just letting you know what could happen, I'm not trying to make you panic or anything; I just don't want someone going through what I went through, it was horrible.

Have you had unprotected sex recently? Don't think you're pregnant do you? If its a posibility, and you've already skipped your period, definitely take a test and find out.

It could be alot of things. Could be some kind of a UTI, in which case cranberry juice or a local treatment, available at your pharmacy, would be a good option. You could take an AZO test (bought at any pharmacy or supermarket) and it can tell you if you have a UTI.

Could also possibly be an ovarian cyst that has popped (thus the blood and some pain). In which case, unless the bleeding worsens or pain gets worse, it's something that usually just happens on its own without interference from physicians.

If you have had sex and suspect that there's a possibility you could be pregnant, you could also take a test just to be sure.
