Leg hurts - March 11th 2010, 01:19 AM

For the past week or so, when I run on the tredmill, I notice that my right leg hurts a lot really quickly. Normally since I know about lactic aicd and all that I wouldn't think much of this, but since this is only in my right leg I'm rather worried. And I'm pretty sure I work them pretty much equally, so I can see no reason why it's only in one leg.

Any insight into this???

How is it hurting? Like what is the pain like? you may have somehow injured it subtly and not the other.

Yea, I you may have injured it even slightly? Or possibly over worked it? Maybe slow down on the running, and keep at a relaxed pace to try and loosen it up. If that doesn't work, see a doctor, or fitness specialist :]

I'm still alive.
Must have been a miracle
It's been one hell of a ride
Destination still unkown
It's a fact of life: If you make one wrong move with a gun to your head
You better walk the line or you'll be left for dead.

I'm a runaway train on a broken track
I'm the ticker on the bomb that you can't turn back
Thats right.
I got away with it all and I'm still alive.
Let the end of the world come tumbling down.
I'll be the last man standing on the ground
As long as hot blood runs through my veins
I'm still alive.

you may have injured it or your overworking your muscle in your leg, like quackerjackwhoop said it would be a good idea to see your doctor or a fitness specialist

if it carries on and you haven't had an obvious injury go to your doctor because any unexplained pain, especially just in one of your legs could be serious. it's probably nothing more than a strain but keep an eye on it.

Hey Robin,

I'm going to close this thread now as it seems as though your leg has been getting better - If you'd like it reopened, feel free to send me a message. Of course, if the pain increases again then don't hesitate to get it checked out by your doctor. Remembering to stretch and cool down before and after exercise is very imporant too and should hopefully help you to prevent any injuries.

Take care of yourself!
