Breathing Wears Me Out... - February 8th 2009, 04:23 PM

Just lately sometimes when I breath it wears me out. This usually happens when I'm trying to get to sleep at night. It makes me tired and it's a struggle to breath as it makes me out of breath, I guess that's the best way of describing it.

Anyone experienced anything similar before?

see a doctor. if your labored breathing is actively making you tired then something is wrong.

It has happened to me before too, Cara. However, usually it only happens before or after a panic or asthma attack for me. Maybe you should talk to your docter, see if there's a reason why breathing makes you tired.

if you're having a problem with breathing you really should consult a doctor. its probably nothing to worry about, but you may have athsma or something similar that you don't know about.

I have labored breathing too but it's I think it's due to drug use.
do you take anything? Or does it just come out of nowhere?

I'm on the pill but I don't think that has anything to do with it...it just happens, most of the time when I'm getting ready to go to sleep.

I sometimes have this problem, usually when I wake up, but also sometimes while I'm trying to fall asleep. I've no clue, however, what it is. You should see your doctor, most definitely.
