There's no escape? - April 23rd 2010, 07:49 AM

I don't use makeup as I'm male, but it's possible I can contact the germs by contacting a female...

I have OCD, so this could be detrimental to me... Is there no escape from all this shit? Fuck...

From reading that article it seems to be saying that the testers in stores could have traces of feces on. I wouldn't say that it's anything to be too concerned about. People aren't always going to be using testers and so long as they're keeping themselves clean there should be nothing to worry about.

The possibility of that happening is present of course, but it is highly unlikely. Everywhere you go, there are germs, so I wouldn't worry to much.
If you don't already, develop a hand-washing routine. As in, after you have been somewhere wash your hands. Wash your hands before eating as well.

Hey there,

It is unlikely that you will get ill or have have detrimental health effects from coming into contact with someone who is wearing make-up. As the article said, that study does concentrate on testers and the majority of women who are wearing make up will not be wearing tester make-up, but will have bought sealed make-up.
You can come into contact with germs anywhere, but it is important to think rationally and remember that you're health is not severly in risk because of this. I suggest that if your OCD is having a massive impact on your day to day living, talk to a doctor.

Take care.
