shoulder problems - February 12th 2009, 01:13 AM

Im going to be trying out for my school softball team in March. THe problem is december i was in a car crash and fractured my shoulder and got a compression fracture in my back. Im healed now but still really sore.

Is there any excersies i can do to work my shoulder. I fractured my right shoulder which just so happens to be my throwing arm. so it really hurts to throw the ball and i play outfield so i have to throw long distances.

Help please!

In throwing sports, one should initially start with an underhand or sidearm throw which will be easier than an overhand throw. One should warm up well and throw easily while gradually increasing the intensity of the throws. Try to maintain a smooth throwing motion that will make use of the overall strength of your body.

Warm up really well and stretch! Take an Advil, which is a muscle relaxer, before each practice or game.
