Allergic Reactions -
June 18th 2010, 03:18 PM
Hi everyone, so basically, I'm really, really allergic to grass.
It makes me legs come up in red rashes, sometimes spots, sometimes they swell up. It's ridiculously itchy and burns like hell, and if I itch it, it makes it worse. I've tried putting moisturiser on them, I've tried Sudacrem and today I bought some 1% Hydrocortisone cream, but it doesn't seem to be working and I can only use this latest cream for a week. I'm also taking loratadine tablets (for hayfever) once a day which hopefully helps me stop sneezing quite as much... Basically, does anyone know of any majic remedy or a cream or something, anything that I could put on my legs to stop them reacting so badly? Because if it carries on like this all summer, it's going to be hell... Thanks! |

I am sure there is some remedy out there to help. But it isn't going to be magic. Try going to a local drug store and ask a pharmacist or go to your doctor they will be the best bet for knowing what to do.

Hey Naomi,
Have you seen your doctor with your allergies? I was put on varies medications and you can probably get cream prescribed to calm down the itching. If you're finding that what you buy isn't working, it's worth seeing your doctor and asking whether he can prescribe a stronger anti-histamine cream. I hope this helps. Marie. |

Going to your doctor sounds like your best bet, or even just asking a pharmacist. You could also try an anti-itch cream, if I remember correctly E45 do one
