Ok apparently i have always had a weak bladder, my mum said anyway.
I always had a little trickle which i never thought much about, it never seeped through my pants or anything, just a little bit in my kincks (sorry for tmi and all :P ) But very recently, it gots worse, it has got progressivly worse over the last 2 years and just in the ast 3 weeks it has got really bad, Because i wear a skirt at school, i wear shorts underneath and i have felt it at the bottom of my shorts a few times and got really scared cos thought i had wet myself :/ never got to the extend where my bladder just letes it all go , but its still not nice, and when i dont have pads, i have to got toilet roll and put that down so i feel like an idiot haha, and now its got the extend i will have to wear pads ALL the time, i hate wearing them when its that time of the month, but now i have to do it all the time :/ I know there are exercises i can do, i.e start and stop the flow when im on the toilet, but i cannot stop it, and if i manage to it reall stings. Do you think there is something wrong? I am only 15, and this usually happens to women in there 30's ? :S I know you can get an op when your older, but am i eligalbe, think its worth a trip to the doc?

Seriously, those bladder exercises really do help. Start off by trying to stop peeing when your nearly finished anyway - it should be easier then. After you can do that, build up to stopping yourself peeing midflow (Sorry for tmi )
If those exercises really don't work then maybe you should see a doctor - just to check you out. Bladder weakness is actually becoming more and more common in younger people. There are probably more exercises or tablets or something that the doctor could give you to help you. I hope this helps a bit
I'm still alive.
Must have been a miracle It's been one hell of a ride Destination still unkown It's a fact of life: If you make one wrong move with a gun to your head You better walk the line or you'll be left for dead. I'm a runaway train on a broken track I'm the ticker on the bomb that you can't turn back Thats right. I got away with it all and I'm still alive. Let the end of the world come tumbling down. I'll be the last man standing on the ground As long as hot blood runs through my veins I'm still alive. |

I have this same problem and it drives me crazy. Sometimes it will happen if i am sitting and then stand up quickly :S I think I'll try those exercises and see if that makes a difference. And I have heard that it is becoming more common in younger girls now, not just women in their 30s so there is nothing WRONG with us really. Just not a fun thing to have :S
