Question Bellyy! - June 30th 2010, 08:26 AM

Hiya, firstly I'd like to add I don't have any problems with my eating, I eat all my meals and snacks, sure I dont always eat healthy food but 80% I do.

Secondly, I dont want to lose weight as such but rather just tone up.

So, basically I have a fairly muscly stomach and generally my body is made up way more muscle than fat. However, as soon as it gets to about 1cm above my belly button, the fat starts. I have a massive roll of fat. It's so annoying, I can't wear tight top without people looking at me, so the only thing I can do is try and suck it in. :L and tbh, it looks ridiculous. :L

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this fatty roll, as I don't have the confidence to wear a bikini in the summer due to this stupid "beast" as its been so aptly named by my mates. Could anyone suggest some exercises?

Thankyouuu

There's no such thing as "toning". To get rid of the excess fat on your stomach, you're gonna have to lose body fat by running a calorie deficit. Note that you can't "spot reduce" fat, i.e. you can't do thousands of situps and expect it to do anything for your stomach fat beyond burning overall calories. What is your current exercise/diet like?
