Large Blister -
July 3rd 2010, 03:34 AM
As a result of a salt and ice burn, I have a blister the size of a quarter and a half on my calf. The area around the blister is quite scaley, and all three burns itch like crazy. The other two have also blistered but not nearly as bad as the third. I have had blisters this large, from salt and ice burns, before (in the past, not anytime recent), but oftentimes, the blisters either got popped accidently or I stuck a sterilised pin through them and drained them that way. I don't necessarily want to go to that length if I don't have to and would almost rather let it heal on its own. However, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to speed up the healing process or if I should be dressing it somehow. So, help?
