Um... -
July 3rd 2010, 01:21 PM
Okay, this is going to sound embarrassing but what the heck (and I honestly don't know where to post this thread. I've been debating with myself whether to post it on the sex and puberty forum or in here. . . Anyway, just move it if you guys think it's more suitable in another forum)
OKAAY. So... I don't know if everyone or anyone actually noticed the same thing with themselves. But.. see: I noticed my breasts a few days ago when I was shopping for new underwears One of them is bigger than the other... ![]() Like, my left boob could actually fit on a D cup bra while the other is a C. ![]() It's starting to freak me out.. And it's summer! It looks obvious when I wear my bikini top! ![]() My bestfriend has the same problem but she's totally cool about it, she says it's normal because half of our body is not equal to each other. Does anyone noticed this? Should I go to the doctor? "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Yeah your friend is right, nobody is symetrical.
You're only seventeen, so chances are you're still growing a bit. You can see your doc if you want. If it's bothering you that much that it's ruining your life then you could get surgery to even them out. The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows... The chances are you're just still growing. I have exactly the same problem - one of mine seems about a size bigger than the other. According to my mother, nobody can notice it, and I think just about every girl goes through this at some point or another. They should even out =)

This is completely normal, I have the same problem. If you have a problem with it being noticeable in a bra and under a shirt as well as in a bikini, buy the bra to fit the larger cup and get what they call a cookie or cutlet that goes under the breast that is small and naturally lifts it to make it look more even. They're comfortable! As for swimwear, most stores (at least the ones I've been to) that specialize in swimwear will be able to recommend a custom made swimwear company or some will even tailor swimsuits for you. It's nothing to be embarrassed about, you're still growning and there are many options for you in the future if this remains an issue!

My left is an E, my right is a D/DD ... so like two cup sizes. Yes it's obvious. Yes I'm embarrassed by it. Yes my friends have commented. And YES it's completely normal.
Try not to worry about it too much. I've been assured that they will even out sooner or later, and until then even up with chicken fillets where possible. I know it's not the nicest thing to have, but it is normal and a hell of a lot of girls have the same problem, so you aren't alone

not sure if a doctor can solve that(maybe just plastic operations but thats bull if you ask me)... its puberty after all. i don't think your breasts are done with growing.
just wait, there might be improvement. ![]() and if your going to the pool or the beach, other people mind doing their own business, they don't look at boobs as you pass by,that would be just too immature. my conclusion is that you should follow the message i repeat to myself the way I'm made is the way I am I stay like this cause that's me. the way we are made is the most perfect. don't know how to put it anymore. well make the decision you want most.
