I need a little help...! - February 14th 2009, 02:12 PM

I need to gain weight and start exercising but I cannot get motivated or anything. I am underweight for an 18 year old and weaker than the avarage 18 year old. What should I do?

Well to start off your a girl. Now that isn't meant bad, but girls aren't usually too big and can't usually lift a lot. Although, granted you know the limits of gaining weight then I will gladly assist you. Sadly, Teen Help doesn't promote the fact that I lay out routines and diets for people so if you want for more information go to my forums which the link is in my sig and you can PM or e-mail me.

To answer your question, you need to eat. And properly. Low Gluyscemic is the best, it'll put it up but it'll keep you from getting fat pretty well. Then you should do pilates and aerobics and basic cardio to keep toned, firm and slim.

Well, as far as food goes, eat- but don't eat too unhealthy, because then you'll have a 'losing' weight problem. Anyway, be sure to eat until your full and content. Or if that's not enough eat a little bit more or snack occasionally.

As for excercise, it can be tricky. I go for walks all the time. I grab my iPod and walk up and down the street multiple of times and let my mind take me where ever it wants. I can help and it works out your leg muscles.

True, girls usually aren't born muscle-bound like a lot of guys are, but with some work you can become stronger than some guys out there.

like Brendanmonline said, we can't lay out diets and routines, but we can make friendly suggestions and let you decided which is the most responsible and best for you.
