Question Fever, headaches... - September 6th 2010, 01:06 PM

So since friday i've been sick. On friday morning I felt really sick, and threw up and had a fever, I still went to school though. Then i slept from 5pm til 10am on saturday. On saturday i felt sick, but I had work so i had to go to that. Then that night i had a party which i went to and still had a fever, i ended up leaving early cause i felt sick (but i did have a little bit to drink too). On sunday i had to go grocery shopping, i didnt have a fever, but tehn my lower back started aching (kinda between the bottom of my ribs and hips, on both sides of my spine). By the end of the shoppign trip, i couldn't even stand up. Today, i've been feeling sick still, fever, and nearly threw up (i didnt becuase i hadnt eaten much). I've also had headaches, and haven't been eating much, just enough to sustain me through the day for school. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? My mum thinks its stress, but i dunno?

Firstly, we're not doctors so we can't say anything for sure as to what's wrong with you.

There's probably a few things that this could be, but you're not going to know for sure unless you speak to a doctor. Seeing as though it's been happening for a few days, you've been sick and had a temperature, it's definitely a good idea to seek medical attention. It could be something serious or you might just need some rest and medicine. But you need to speak to a doctor to know for sure.

Get well soon.

As Tayla said, we here are not doctors. So I'd suggest you'd make an appointment with yours or if you need to go to the ER/A&E. There's most likely a slew of things you could have, which is why going to see your doctor would be your best bet. In the meantime, make sure you're drinking a lot of fluids and trying to eat something small each day. Also, try taking Ibuprofen or any other anti-inflammatory/pain reliever to help with your back pain and bring down your fever.

I hope you start to feel better soon! Take care.

“There is nothing beautiful about the wreckage of a human being.
There is nothing pretty about damage, about pain, about heartache.
What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill

Yuck, sounds like either a bad cold or the flu! Go visit a doc to find out for sure!!
