didnt know where to put this but

i had my ears pierced at start of summer
and since i took them out they got a bit infected, i have tried batheing them in boiling salt water, taking earings out for a few days , still bathing them, but nothing is getting rid of the infection completely, keeps getting worse, then better, then worse

so recomendations?

If you have an infection, you shouldn't take the piercing out and I'd consider going to your piercer and seeing what they say or maybe even the doctor to see if they could prescribe something for the infection if it's getting worse.

Are you allergic to it? I had this and although i told the jewellers to pierce my ears with gold (NOT gold plated or silver) I took a reaction to it as they didn't heed this information..

I'd see you'r doctor but be prepared to take them out to let them heal up (and unfortunately close). In total I've had my ears pierced 4 times, and have only one set of holes able to put earrings in. Funnily enough the time I got them pierced in Claires' accessories, was the one that worked. :P

I would go and speak to your doctor. They should be able to determine why you keep having infections in your piercings.

Take care.

As it's been said, you should really see your doctor! It sounds like you could be allergic to the actual ear ring. What type are you using?

Like others have said you could be allergic. I'm allergic to Nickel and most piercing places use surgical steel to pierce ears which contains Nickel so maybe it's that?

I got mine done at Claire's and they gave me some solution to put on them twice a day. I kept it just in case and used it when my ears got infected.

It was some kind of alcohol solution, however I cannot give you the correct ingredients. My advice is to keep the earrings in, as they could close up if you leave them out. If salt water isn't working, then its best to go see your doctor.

And here you are living, despite it all.
