It wont make anything differ for your muscles.

If you want to gain muscle all that will work is a healthy diet and excersise. I strongly recommend NOT using it. Its also dangerous. We are meant to have low(ish) creatine kinase levels

Re: CREATINE?! - February 22nd 2009, 01:56 PM

I know for a fact that it will help gains, it does stuff with your veins to allow protein to flow better. And it also fills your muscles with water, giving me the tanked look I desire, the one I'm working hard for. I know all about exercise and diet, I'm switching from a cut to a bulk now.

And exactly how dangerous is this? Death dangerous or just screwed up dangerous? If it kills me, I'll have to think about it but if it won't then I'm fine. I know of anger issues and it's claimed to power your brain better too.

It doesnt help gain. Trust me. I'm doing it at uni.
Muscle building is ONLY gained through exercise. Its when you damage the muscles whilst exercise, the body makes more protein, and then you get a slightly larger muscle.. the whole water thing? its a load of rubblish. THAT is not muscle building.

Put it this way, we're meant to have creatine kinase leves in the hundreds or something like that, relatively low.. my brothers is in its thousands due to a genetic condition and it is WASTING away the muscle.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I really want it. And I know body-builders who use it, but I can't get in contact with them today for some reason. Just my luck! I'm in town for another hour, so I need to know ASAP!

Quote:
Kids under age 18 should avoid creatine, King says, because few studies have been done on children using creatine as an exercise enhancement.

There have been reports of overexertion causing torn muscles. That can mean permanent damage. "Children are still in a growing phase, and we're not sure what impact creatine may have on muscles and bones as they grow," he says. "I feel very strongly that middle and even high schoolers shouldn't use it."
