Unhappy My sleeping pattern - November 24th 2010, 09:39 AM

I moved to university two months and ive been having a great time but my sleeping pattern is completely screwed up. Ive always been an early person back home and was able to sleep about midnight most nights and be able to wake up early (not that easily but no more than a normal teenager)
Now i literally cant sleep until 4-5am every single night and because of this i always sleep in so late and literally cannot move when my alarm clock goes off and keep missing my early lectures. Plus i work sundays so its hard having to get up and get the train at 9 when youve only been asleep for 4 hours. Im worried that i cant get it back to normal because i really need to for the sake of my education and general health. Any advice will be very much appreciated.

What you can do is tire yourself out, do some exercising and get yourself tired. I currently have my own sleeping problem which is insomnia. No matter how tired I am, I just can't sleep and I'm really restless. My doctor said to do something active, which will help me sleep longer and easier.
