dizziness. - February 28th 2009, 08:49 PM

I've been feeling dizzy all day and my balance isn't great. (note: i was able to go somewhere, orchestra, and act mostly fine, so it's not like i'm at home falling over repeatedly lol and then crawling to the comp to write this). It might not be anything, in fact probably isn't because I looked online and none of the descriptions of 'what might be wrong with you' fits, but I'm wondering if any of you have felt this way and know what it is.

I haven't been eating quite as much as usual recently, and am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

If you haven't been eating as much as usual, you could be lacking in protein, vitamins and minerals, and electrolytes--all things that could make you feel dizzy if you lack them. I suggest trying your best to fit some more food, especially nutrient dense food, into your diet in the next few days.

If the dizziness continues, it would be wise to see your doctor

Best of luck,
Emily <3

Yes - your poor diet could be making you feel dizzy and/or faint. Your body uses food as fuel; and if it isn't getting enough then it simply doesn't have enough energy to operate.
You could be lacking in iron due to not eating much therefore you could have developed anemia.
You should go to your doctor and have a blood test taken if the dizziness continues; but also make sure you're getting your daily required caloric intake.

& it's just like she's in another world.

It could be a sign that you're dehydrated. I remember when i was suffering with quite bad dehydration i was awfully dizzy and it was terrible. Keeping a balanced diet is also a good idea. If you do both of these and the dizziness continues i'd probably suggest seeing a doctor and just checking that theres nothing else going on.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..
