Wisdom tooth pain - April 19th 2011, 11:44 PM

So, during my spring break I went to the dentist and found out I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth needed to be removed as soon as possible, two of which are impacted. Because they're impacted, the dentist really wants me to be put under anesthesia. Because of the cost, my parents have to wait till their get their tax returns, which means I have to wait till I go home for the summer to get it done.
Well, a few days ago, on of my teeth start coming back in (They've been coming in and out since puberty). And it's really painful. Like I can't eat or talk painful. So, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to relieve this pain.

Before getting my wisdom teeth removed I had the same symptoms I couldn’t eat or talk because one tooth hurt think it was my left side. The pain went to my ear and throat it got to a point where I couldn’t eat anything or even open my mouth because of the pain and my date to have them removed was not until another week, I couldn’t wait and the dentist had to remove them immediately the following day and it hurt a lot more than if I had not waited that long.
My tip is go get them removed now before you get to the stage where I was and it made everything worst. Talk to your dentist and see if you can pay it off in monthly payments. Trust me you don’t want to wait more.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out two days ago and it hurts like hell. Try ice and ibprufen.

Schedule for an appointment and in the mean time, pain killers may help, such as non-narcotic NSAIDs (i.e. tylenol, aspirin and ibuprofen). If you need stronger medications, tylenol with codeine may help.

This helped me when I had a nasty cavity: swirl salt water around in your mouth, particularly to the areas where it hurts. It won't give long-lasting relief, only short-term relief.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
