Unhappy STD'd - May 1st 2011, 06:36 PM

Gonorrhea and chlamydia..both. How do I get treated without my parents finding out!? Like I know Dr./Patient confidentiality thing, but that doesn't change the fact that I need to be prescribrd antibiotics.. I've apparently had it for a while now.. I barely came up with the symptoms. If left untreated..what happens?

If left untreated these are very serious things.

Chlamydia can cause infertility and other health problems such as Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). Gonorrhoea can cause infertility as well and can lead to PID too and long term pelvic pain.

Also, it's recommended that you don't have sex until you've completed the treatment course for the STD's.

Overall, it's best to just get treated because if left untreated it's likely you'll be in a lot of pain at a later date so your parents will probably find out then anyway. If you don't want them to find out that you've got an STD you could always tell them it's just thrush or something similar?

Take care and good luck with the treatment. For future reference always wear a condom (I take that back if you did and it failed)

A lot of States have laws that allow Teenagers to get access to STD Medication without parental knowledge. I would suggest asking your doctor.

However I wouldn't rely on the self judgment alone to determine if you have an STD, make sure to get tested.

Satanism is not a white light religion; it is a religion of the flesh, the mundane, the carnal - all of which are ruled by Satan, the personification of the Left Hand Path.

"Love those who deserve your love, instead of love wasted on ingrates!"

"If a man smite thee on one cheek, smash him on the other!"

"It's too bad stupidity isn't painful."
