Blistering from sunburn -
May 7th 2011, 05:15 AM
So I've got an intense sunburn from post-prom shenanigans at the beach and at a few points it's bad enough that it's blistering (though they're not painful unless I prod them). Is there anything I can do to help heal this? At the moment I'm just putting aloe on occasionally.

Get some vitamin E oil, it repairs the cells membranes which takes the brunt of the damage from ultraviolet rays. I use something when I get sunburns it may or may not help you but you can take a chance. I buy almonds oil and olive oil and combined when together and I rub it where I have the sunburns it helps me.
Good Luck.! Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it. |

You should probably use some after sun and perhaps moisturiser

Aloe Vera oil is usually good for sunburns as well as after sun lotion (although most after sun lotions contain Aloe Vera now)
Also, I've heard having a cool bath with one cup of vinegar in helps it heal faster. I'm not too sure if this does work but it's worth a try. If you don't like the idea of vinegar then buttermilk and lavender essential oil are also supposed to have the same effect. Take care and I hope your sunburn gets better soon

I was just going to suggest Aloe Vera.
Sounds painful! For comfort, take cooler showers, and load yourself up with after sun lotion, or aloe vera. Take care! ![]() I was looking for a breath of life For a little touch of heavenly light But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh |
