Headaches -
May 9th 2011, 10:30 AM
2 weeks ago, my younger sister (who has special needs) knocked me off a stool and I hit my head and was knocked out for a few minutes.
When I went to the hospital I got the all clear. Then the day after I ended up back in hospital after I collapsed with a horrible pain in my head. Yet again I ended up with the all clear. I have been back to the hospital since because I keep getting these horrendous headaches. They put me on stronger medication which were working for a while. Now I have this constant headache. Even taking the medication it is still very painful. The doctors think there is nothing wrong but I cant help but think there is. (they didnt do any proper tests when I was at the hospital) Any advice? I'm planning on going back to my GP to see him about it. Do You Take The Non-Believers, Because I'm A Non-Believer

I would definitely suggest going to your GP and requesting further tests. It's been 2 weeks so really and truly you shouldn't have headaches still. I'm no expert on any of this sort of thing, but it could be possible that a minor head injury was caused here and it's still persisting to cause an annoyance. Ask for more tests, maybe a head scan just to be on the safe side.
Maybe different medication could be needed. I'm sure it's nothing serious, but it's always better to be on the safe side. Hope everything works out, Paige |

I think you should get a catscan just to be sure. It could be a minor concussion or it could be nothing but I think you should ask for a couple tests.
