Womanhood. - March 11th 2009, 11:27 PM

All right if you're a guy, respectively turn back because this question is not for you *lol*

Forgive me for my ignorance but you know on your vagina below your clit, on the outer edge of the opening, is it normal to have one side of the skin larger than the other? If not...what can fix this? My friend has this problem and she's too embarrassed to tell her parents or a doctor but I want to help her out and calm her down since she's worried

That is normal, women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. If she went to a doctor about it they would say the same thing. She might have plastic surgery to try to make it “look” better. But honestly there is nothing wrong with her.
The only thing I could think of is if the area is swelling and it continues to get much larger. Then there is a problem and she needs to see a doctor. But what you are describing sounds natural to me.

The only thing to fix this, I think, is surgery to have the labia reduced. I'm not sure if anything else can really be done, but I'd have your friend talk to her doctor to see if anything can be done.
