and i believe that hes different
but he does the same thing all the rest have done
then comes the boy i've known all my life
he takes me home and teaches me to live
and we end up falling in love
NOW if only i could believe that

Alright. First of all if you are able, let your legs rest often. Never put them in a brace or not use it (you just want to use it lightly). Applying ice often for 15minutes at a time can help swelling. Anti-inflammatory meds like Ibuprofen can also help with the swelling. If it's been over 48 hours since the pains started then avoid the ice packs and use heat applications for 15 minutes at a time.

Otherwise you should go see a doctor because you don't want the condition worsening. They can prescribe you muscle relaxers or pain meds to help your body relax.

Well after soccer, even if you feel no pain at the time, apply ice packs for the next couple days for 15 minutes. This can help prevent the muscle from swelling and causing pain.
