foot problems -
November 5th 2011, 11:14 PM
So, I've had issues with my foot for about two months, and was just diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It's basically where you have an insignifacant trauma that causes your nerves to irrationally freak out and send constant pain signals for no reason. I'm getting treatment for it.
But another thing that is freaking me out is that for the past weekend my other foot has been giving out. Like I try to stand and it just turns inward and I fall over. I can't feel it, and it just collapses. I'm wondering if I should mention this to my doctor. I'm not seeing her again for two weeks. It's sort of scary, but it doesn't happen all the time, so I'm not sure if it would be good to bring up yet again ANOTHER problem. God, grant the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know that difference.

I think you should bring it up. This isn't exactly normal. It could be you are standing up too fast, but since you do have other medical issues, I would bring it up. Your doctor can determine if it is related or not. They might be missing something if you don't tell them everything that's happening.
Imagine if someone goes in to complain about chest congestion and fatigue but they don't mention the occasional green, snotty sneeze. That could be the difference between a cold or a sinus infection (not exactly true, just a rough example). So, tell them. It might be nothing, or it might help them help you.
So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you... ![]() ![]() ![]() |
