HELP ASAP! -
November 23rd 2011, 07:15 AM
I've had the hiccups for over 4 hours, it's keeping me awake. After I hiccup I get this horrible burning feeling in my throat. My abdominal area and chest are becoming very sore. They are also very loud and sometimes I burp along with the hiccup. I can't find much on the Internet.
What should I do? |

This sounds like acid reflux. Although, I can't diagnose you. But I would suggest going to your doctor if it happens again so they can check you over.

Acid reflex probably. Good thing you figured out how to stop them!

So I got them earlier today for three hours, and I have them again. I can't stop them. I can't get in to see my dr. Until Monday. I get them after drinking mountain dew, but I drink it all the time. I also got them after drinking water. I see to get them after drinking a lot of something. Not from eating, still possible acid reflux?

Acid reflux is a possibility but I also find that if I drink too quickly or too much, I get hiccups. Just something to keep in mind.
