A couple of days ago I realised I have a small ulcer on the inside of my top lip. One that my tooth keeps hitting against and biting and making me squeak.
 I found a tube of Bonjela in our kitchen cupboard, but it went out of date in October last year. It says on the back not to use past the date on the tube, but is that just a precaution or is it actually mortally dangerous to use? My mum suggested baking powder. Apparently this will sting so much that my mouth will go numb. Not happening.  So can I use the out of date Bonjela, and if not, does anyone have any ideas of how to make it just... go away?

Do you have any TCP? Dab some of that on with a cotton bud and that helps...you can also gargle it but that tastes so nasty so I wouldn't suggest it

I've used bonjela that's nearly a year out of date before, and im still here

Usually medicines just aren't as effective after the use by date. Also, you can try gargling salt water. Unless the sore is opened, then it shouldn't hurt but it will help with some of the pain and any swelling nearby.
So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you...    |
