First, try using a strong mouth wash like Listerine, it could be the beginning of an infection. If not, try sucking on ice cubes, popsicles or ice cream etc, your teeth could be shifting.

If the pain keeps up, see your doctor or a dentist.

Floss, the pain you could be feeling could be your gums receding which is bad.. Your best bet is to make a dentist appointment as soon as possible and have an exam done but for now, brush and floss daily.

I agree with the above users.

It could be gums receding or an infection starting. So start your day by flossing, brushing teeth. Around lunch, repeat. At bedtime mouth rinse, floss, brush teeth.

I suppose you could do them in any order, but definitely get mouth rinse in there once a day and flossing. If you can floss two times a day, great. I know I'm pretty busy so I can only do mouth rinse and floss at night, but that's better than never

You could also use something such as orajel. And maybe its about time to start thinking about registering yourself with a Dr and a dentist. Because if they hurt for a long time like over a period of a week - two weeks you will probably need to see a dentist!

In addition to Listerine, try perhaps to apply ice. You may have unintentionally hurt your gums.

Good Luck !

Go to the dentist so you get a checkup.Do they bleed when you brush or floss?
