My diet plan... - March 10th 2012, 11:00 AM

Hi guys, I have been following this diet for 3 weeks, trying to lose fat, however it's been to no avail. Can anyone reccomend me some changes in this dietary plan? It'd be well appreciated.

7 AM - 2 oranges + a glass of skim milk

11:30 AM - Small(ish?) Turkey Sandwich w/ Mustard + Water

3 PM - Grilled Chicken Breast w/ spices and 1/2 cup white rice

6:30 PM - Bowl of Salad

9 PM - 45 minutes on the treadmill, 25 of them are intense running.

I workout every day with the exception of Thursdays, and I have a freeday on Friday.

Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I really can't tell you what the problem is. I can only speculate. And one question is how are you sleeping? Do you sit at a desk all day, or do you work and are on the move often?

Those can play a role in this as well.

Also, be sure to be getting enough calories in the day to stay healthy while losing weight. And if you are wanting to lose weight in your stomach area, I would say try the bicycle rather than the treadmill. You'll lose weight and get toned in your thighs, arms, and stomach.

Other than that, I would suggest asking your doctor on ideas or a diet plan. And they can make sure you eat healthily while losing weight.

Hey there,

Only thing I could really critique about this diet is that you're not getting enough fruits and vegetables. Maybe you should put some steamed vegetables on your white rice, along with making that rice brown whole grain rice, and then thinking about trying to add an after work out snack of some strawberries or something. That may help as well.

I would also recommend you see a doctor for another meal plan. While this one doesn't sound unhealthy, this may not be the best meal plan for your specific body type. You also my not really need to lose weight, and are at a healthy weight for your body type. I would see a doctor and get some information from them.
