Hydroxycut? - March 30th 2012, 11:59 PM

I've been trying to lose weight for a while now and I was wondering if Hydroxycut actually works and is safe. I've heard bad things about it but I'm not sure if they're true or not. Or is there a better pill? Thanks :3

First of all, hydroxycut is not safe. I've read and heard many news articles about the dangers. I will leave a few of them below:
http://www.fda.gov/forconsumers/cons.../ucm152152.htm
http://articles.cnn.com/2009-05-01/h...e?_s=PM:HEALTH

I'm also going to point out that you are 14 years old, you are too young to be using these products, they are made specifically for people 18+. This is extremely dangerous to your health, and honestly, your body isn't fully developed, so it's just not good. I think you need to ask yourself why you are taking these products, are you really at an unhealthy weight, or are you not happy with yourself emotionally? I used to take hydroxycut myself, I was in a very bad place, and it was not good for my body. Just hang in there. If you need to talk, PM me.

I agree with Traci. Hydroxy cut is unsafe, especially since you are under 18. Diet pills are not made for people under 18, and even then it's not good on our bodies.

The best way to lose weight is to exercise and eat healthily. Pills contain so much more than just making you lose the weight. There are so many chemicals in them that we don't need in our bodies.

If you really do need to lose weight, talk to your doctor about it. See what they can suggest. Sometimes they can give you a diet plan, and other times they can send you to a nutritionist.

And perhaps all you need/want is to get toned. Tighten up muscles. This is great if you're not overweight, but you might have a bit of flab or jiggle you don't want. Doing sit ups, riding the bicycle in gyms, or riding your real bicycle, all work great on your stomach. The bicycles work well on your stomach and legs.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to rethink the hydroxycut but I can't talk to a doctor or anything, they don't really agree with me wanting to lose weight -_-

To tell you the truth no diet, pill, powder or what ever crap they come up with next works. And if it doesit's very much so temporary or more than likely dangerous. Especially at your age. You need to work hard to get in shape. Lot's of exercise, protein, veggies and fruits. and no junk food.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
PM me if you need to talk about ANYTHING.

If the doctor doesn't think you need to lose weight, then you probably don't need to Just eat right and exercise to stay healthy and feel good <3
