Object Fell on Leg - April 11th 2012, 09:05 PM

So, sort of strange for me to post in here, but...

I had a very large and heavy cart fall on my leg at work today. From the back of my knee down, my leg is bruises and cuts. It's very painful. And it's still swollen 3 hours after the incident. I now cannot straighten my leg to walk and there is a HUGE bulge where my knee bends (all on the back of my leg).

I was going to wait until tomorrow to go to the facility where my work would pay for it, but my mom is insisting I go to the ER.

Any thoughts? I've taken tylenol and have been icing it 15minutes then 15 minutes off. No change. Stays swollen, gets more and more sore, etc.

You just got this job too, didn't you?

My only guess based on your post is that you tore/ broke something on the back end of your leg. I hope you figure it out soon though.

Also, I hope you enjoy worker's compensation.

Eat upon their flesh for fuel, and, through your determination and will, banish them to obscurity and a life of complacency and self righteousness that is the hell in which they live"

Hahaha thanks!

Yes, I did just get the job. Only been there about a month. Maybe 5 weeks.
I also had only been at work for an hour!!!

I guess they didn't want me back...

Anyways, I'm calling today to see if I can get into their doctor. Every time I put weight on my leg, my calf muscles spasm.

Anywho, thank you for the reply
