Dizzy spells. - April 20th 2012, 09:03 PM

Hey guys.

Recently I've been feeling dizzy. Not seriously to the point where I faint but it's worrying me. While I was in hospital last year, I started passing out several times a day and apparently while I was 'out' I would shake like I was fitting. I always woke up to being sick. The doctor did tests and realised I was anemic due to blood loss and I'm worried that it's happening again.

It could just be normal, right? I mean, sometimes this just happens for no reason?

Jessie

Unfourtunately being dizzy could be a vast amount of things, so your only option here would be to go to a doctor about it where they may do some tests to get to the bottom of things.
If last time you felt similar to this it was something as concerning as what you experienced in the hospital I would highly recommend going to the doctor sooner than later.

I hope things go well.

I completely agree with Rick.

If it could be due to anemia, why not try taking an iron supplement for a couple days and see if it helps?

Dizziness could also be caused by dehydration, sleepiness, exhaustion, mental/emotional stress, etc.
