Will the doctors find out? -

So I have a doctor appointment in two days and I completely forgot and decided to drink a couple of beers after not having a drink in about 2 months and I know for a fact the docs will take my blood when I go..will they find out if I've been drinking from it? And how long does it take alcohol to get out of your blood? Would water help? I can't have my parents finding out that I drink because I'm only 16...P.S. I don't have a issue or anything I can totally control my drinking.

In all likelihood it wouldn't show up even if they were looking for it. Do they have reason to check for alcohol in your blood?

It won't show up, not only would they have to be looking for it specifically but it wouldn't show up in a test this long after.

As others have stated, Alcohol doesn't last long in the blood; 2 drinks would be out of the system the morning after. So nothing to worry about, just stay out of trouble!

Like everyone else is saying it won't show up, it passes out of your blood stream. But even if it did most doctors aren't so uptight that they're going to go and rat on a kid for having had a few drinks. Its a breach of confidentiality and they're not going to break a patients trust over a few drinks.
