they have tests for that?? wow.. how come i never heard of it i dont think nicotine stays in your system any longer than 24hrs so you should be fine.

pfft, some friend you have. What reason would a friend have for ratting you out? I didn't even know they had tests for nicotine, but if you knew that your school tests, why in the world would you smoke in the first place?

I definately was not aware they could test for that, but I would say that it does not stay in your system very long.

Why would youre friend tell the teacher if they're the one who pressured you to smoke in the first place? That seems a little weird to me. Anyway, I don't think you have anything to worry about, it should be out of your system in no time.

PM me if you need anything else

Quote:
Testing for the presence of cotinine is a standard test to determine if a person is a tobacco user. Cotinine is found in urine from 2 to 4 days after tobacco use.
While it is possible to detect nicotine in a persons body up to 10 days after they've smoked the test is considerably more expensive and I highly doubt your school has the resources to preform expensive testing. You most likely will be given the cheaper more standard version of the urine test which detects nicotine in the body 2-4 days after you last smoked. I highly recommend not smoking anytime before your test or anytime after. Smoking can lead to serious health side effects and addiction. Please use this as a lesson learned and stay away from cigarettes. Take care and best wishes.

Lots of love <3 Mimi
