Need help plz : (

Soo im not gonna chat up a storm here, id like to just get right to what i need help with, my friend smokes weed, not all the time, but from time to time i suppose, and in all honesty it doesn't bother me in the slightest because he still is the same person to me, regardless but the reason i bring this up is because me and him have always talked about getting a place together for when we go school in the fall, we both talk about moving out of our parents houses now and being responsible young adults, however i dont know if i would feel comfortable doing so with him cause even though i dont care that he does smoke, i sometimes feel like if i were to get a place with him he would bring the weed to our place and risk getting both of us in trouble, now i do not smoke weed, or cigarettes i chose not to do either, and he knows this, and Ive brought it up with him multiple times, even my parents know that smokes cause it got brought up in a conversation about him ( long story short they just know ), and i feel like they despise him because so, i know what he is doing isn't necessarily a smart choice for him to be making but i feel as though it makes things difficult for me as well, like my parents probably think that i do that stuff because i hang around him, my dad even confronted me about it a couple days ago and i was angry that he doesnt trust me when i tell him that i dont, my friend is one of my best friends and me and him get along well together, and i need to know, should his choices affect whether or not i should hang out with and possibly get a place with him? what do u guys think? cause im not positive but im fairly certain that if for some reason he were to ever get caught i happened to be with him, or if for some random reason any authority figure ever found out and punished him im sure they're wouldnt be much i could do to prevent myself from getting punished as well. plz help, i know its a long story but its been bothering me for sometime now and i literally cant sleep because of it , i feel like i need some peace of mind or something.

Im not 100% sure, but i believe that if you dont have the drugs in your system, then you'll be fine. Im sure if he got caught or got in trouble, they would do a drug test. Either a urine sample or a blood test or somthing of the sort. So if you stay clean like you say you are, i dont think there should be a problem. But in case the cops for some reason were in a place that you two got together, and found drugs, there may be some consecuences. The final decision is always up to you, though.
