I don't understand this! - February 23rd 2009, 11:36 PM

Hey,

So some of you know that I'm an amateur body-builder but right now I feel so addicted to:

MuscleTech Hydroxycut Hardcore (I think I'm almost going anorexic)
100% Gold Standard Whey & Casien
Animal Pak Multi-Vitamin

I mean, none of these are enough. I just want more and more, sometimes I take more then the max dosage and sometimes I don't. No matter how much the Hydroxycut Hardcore hurts me, I still want more and more. It gives me killer constant head-aches, makes me irritable, makes my whole body ache, inside and out.

Well if you're beginning to look anorexic and it's really doing no good for you and you know that why can't you just stop and move on with your life? Your trying to achieve the goal of the stereotypical "perfect" body when really, you're doing nothing for it. You're just losing temporary weight which is causing more harm than good for you. It's not worth the stupid headaches or bitchy behavior and you'll never benefit from this method. Think about the long run...how long did you really plan on taking those anyway and what did you plan to do when you stopped? You can't be on those forever. Lose weight the healthy way. Eat right, exercise and allow yourself treats. It's a hell of a lot better than wasting away from bullshit diet pills. And if you're really 15, you're gonna give yourself plenty of health problems when you get farther down the road.

I'm not looking anorexic, I mean, I'm getting to that mental state almost. I don't want to eat or drink or even smell or see food unless I've had all my pills. Which you know how many big ass nasty tasting pills I take a day? Pills. And no, I'm not oding. With all my supplements that's what I need. Plus the shakes, of course. And it isn't about the perfect body, it's about being as big as I can be. I just can't quit, I've tried numerous times, I know I can do it with just the shakes but I have withdraw from the supplements to the point I won't sleep (That's for a few reasons though) I planned on taking the whey, casien and pak for my whole life (They're fine) same with Creatine but for the Hydroxycut, I was gonna quit at the end of this bottle.. I'm going on a bulk. And I know i can already feel the side effects.. Vein trouble.. Everything.

Gah, I think I need help but how do I bring it up to the folks? And if I do, they might not let me take any of them. And then also I'd look pretty damn cool walking into a clinic or a therapist saying "I'm addicted to supplements".

If you feel that you need help, just tell someone you trust and someone who cares for you. It's ok to get help and it's great that you've considered it. If you can't do it on your own try seeing a therapist for a little bit or you could try rehabilitation.

Rehab for supplements? Is it even possible?

I want to be able to have the supplements I need without HAVING TO HAVE THEM.. If you know what I mean. Like, Whey, Casein and a multi-vitamin are fine. But I get addicted to anything else that gives me a 'rush' or a feeling of having something accomplished.

If I have the option to go to rehab I will deffinitly take it. Another thing that is risking everything I' mworking for is the school I go to.. It often ends up that everyone there is a drug/alcohol addict and encourage me drinking or smoking :@
