Parties - February 28th 2009, 02:25 AM

I guess I'm in the party phase of life. Parties with alcohol, drugs, etc...
I've never been drunk before. I have drank, but I hated the stuff.
My friends are at a party tonight, and I called one of them and... what I heard, didn't sound like fun.
If I ever went to one of the future parties my friends may have, I'm not sure if I'd want to drink...
My mom said she doesn't care if I drink at parties, as long as I don't come home drunk.
But since I never HAVE been drunk, I don't know how much I can take...

I guess I have two questions...
1. When a person's never been drunk, how many drinks does it take to get that person drunk?
2. Is it weird for someone to be sober at a party when most people are drunk?

when you hit the age of 14,15,16 , you kinda get overt he whole kiddie party (cake, food, etc)

but just recently i had a party in my parents apartment with 12 other poeple but we got cuaght with the alcohol and we caused a ruckus in the hotel. so be careful

but heres some answers to your questions:

um it depends on the drink, if its spirits you will get drunk easy, wine you can get drunk easy. beers you can after like 10 but party drinks like UDL and cruisers are lighter alcohol so it will take you a few of them. just dont drink too fast too many or you will get sick and throw up.

And no its not weird if your sober at a party like I was at my party i wasnt drunk i was too busy looking out for any problems that my stupid friends will cause. And because i dont like the taste of beer.

I don't think it's weird, at all. Being sober does not stop you from having a good time. I wouldn't test how many drinks it takes for you, personally, because it varies from person to person. Just drink sprite or something and watch your cup.
