My boyfriend Drinks

Hey, my boyfriend is fifteen. He drinks and his mom and step dad are drunkies so they probs arnt helping. his mom has borrowed his money to buy beer. but he got really drunk tonight and it kinda scared me. He noticed it and did some trick to sobar up. I was on the fone with him and i can still tell when he is drunk and sobar. He apologized but im pretty sure he is gonna drink next time he is home alone. so anytime this weekened. he is watching his four year old little sister by himself so im also a bit nervous for her. he knows i dont mind when he drinks, i only hate it when he goes overboard. i just dont know what to do now. Because i love him and he loves me so whenever he sees that im getting upset or scared he sobars asap. He somehow has the ability to tell when somthing is wrong when the people who see me everyday cant. i just dont know wat to do now.

He neeeds help. He's obviousley heading down the alocoholi life style. Maybe he drinks to get away from reality. Some people cope like that. You're doing just fine though being there for him but you should take a step in helping him. When he is sober you should talk to him about his dinking and how he should probably give it up for a while just to save you from worry. Then just let him open up to you. It takes time but yea. Some people just dont share things with people and guys are more prone to be alocholics than girls because they keep things bottled up. So do some research on alcoholics and treatment , also do some exercises with him to open up and such. Guys are harder to get sober plus open up to others etc.

thanks. ill talk to him about it. i know he has a lot of problems but i know he doesnt tell me all of them.\

I agree, he does need some help. He's obviously not going to be able to get over this by himself. Does he know you don't like him to drink?

From a guys view, I think you need to just sit him down and have a talk to with him about it.

how does he magically become sober after drinking excessivley..?

he says that water, coffee, stuff like that helps. I've watched it happen also so i believe him. Especially sense he changes a lot when he's drunk. thats how i tell the difference
