Well I'm glad that you had fun, but what is the point of your post if I may ask?
All in all, just be sure you don't get high too often. It is easy to get addicted (seems like you might already be) and it really isn't healthy. There are other, safer ways to get that rush rather then putting drugs into your system. Drugs may also hide your problems behind a curtain, but they will always be there.

I'm not going to try to stop you from getting high again, as I'm moderately interested in it myself.

However, please don't forget that there are health risks associated with it, including, as Nicole pointed out, the not insignificant risk of addiction. Please keep those in mind when you want to get high again. Think not only of what happens when you get high, but also of what might happen afterwards.

If you're doing this just to deal with your problems, I understand completely. However, don't you think it would be a bit more effective to spend the time thinking about your problems instead of getting high and avoiding them? I feel like, in the long run, that would certainly make them easier to deal with.

It's your body, and ultimately your choice. But whatever you do, stay safe.

1) There is no proof that Marijuana is addictive, so no, its not "easy" to get addicted, hell we don't even know if its possible
2) She had fun the first time she did something, and that makes her addicted? Damn, I've been addicted to wanking it for like 7 years now then

Theres a big difference between addiction and enjoying your self, I'd imagine you'd call someone who enjoys a drink or two of whiskey nightly an alchoholic to.

To OP, stay responsible and know your limits, if you do that, Marijuana IS safer and healthier than drinking, and even that is okay to do from time to time as long as your RESPONSIBLE (theres that word again)

Since people know that weed isn't as harmful as other drugs, they will often start using it regularly. They may not be 'addicted' in the literal sense but they might use it often or every once in awhile. Weed is still a drug and drugs are banned from minors for a reason.

How nice for you. I don't see how that adds to your point though. I never once said she was addicted. I said it is possible. Don't twist words, okay? It won't work in your favor.

Hah. Alright then. I definitely know the difference, and no, that does not make them an alcoholic. Don't jump to conclusions kiddo. Your just sounding rude now

K, how you want me to do this.

Point 1) " It is easy to get addicted (seems like you might already be)"
Nope, it is not "easy" to get addicted, nor is it 100% possible, You may develop habits (i,e if you smoke before bed, you may not be able to sleep other ways) But there is a big difference between that, and you just clear shot over that.

Point 2) seems like might already be, isn't implying that its possible, your pretty much saying because she enjoyed something once, that its automatically possible that she is addicted, when in reality that ISNT possible, because you couldn't even develop a physical dependance that quickly, nor do many people do at all. I'm not twisting words, I'm showing you why that statement was wrong. Also,
hey may not be 'addicted' in the literal sense but they might use it often or every once in awhile.

So using something "often" or once in a while makes you addicted?
Completely wrong on so many levels. And goes to show you that you don't understand the whiskey statement.

If someone drinks a glass or two of whiskey on the daily, they aren't addicted and could be a responsible adult (21 or 19+ so its LEGAL for them to be doing it, not a minor) But if someone the same age was to smoke a joint or two a day, they ARE addicted? Is it because its illegal, and illegal equals addiction?

Point 3) The wanking case was a joke, I was implying that I liked it the first time I tried it, and did it more often. Poking fun at the "You may already be addicted" point you made, since its completely asinine

Point 4) Marijuana is illegal for anyone, not just minors. and I want you to actually go and look up why its illegal, may blow your mind that it wasn't outlawed for "how horrible it is!"

Point 5) No one who has any braincells is going to go "Hey, weed is less harmful than meth, so its cool if I smoke it up daily, even though meth wouldn't be"

I'm not trying to call you out or something, but you (and alot of people on this site) will make Cannabis out to be some huge monster, and make stupid claims (its easy to get addicted?) okay..

Also, Kiddo? I'm 4 years older than you and clearly am trying to explain why its not a god awful thing to smoke marijuanna recreationally, but as soon as someone says that they liked the experience, it automatically means they are a "druggie" on this site, or as most people seem to act.

There is a fine line between wanting to stop and being able to stop. And since they really enjoyed it it led to the thought that they would carry on with it which could potentially lead to an addiction. I'll admit, I shouldn't have said they seem like they are already. My bad

Okay 'kiddo' is just a term some people use, okay? I wasn't implying that you are younger. And age is just a number.

And just saying, I have smoked pot before. I know it isn't outlawed for being 'bad'. But inhaling smoke can't be said as a 'good' thing to do. Smoke is smoke, and it can be harmful to ones body.
The alcoholic point was irrelevant. I see your connection, but it doesn't quite match up to this discussion.

Miscommunication happen. Wrong words are used. The whole point to my original post was to warn the OP about weed. There wasn't really any need to pick at my post and pull out things that may or may not be true. Just say your opinion and move on.

Sorry, but this is kind of what I do :P I actually am trying to get into illicit drug research and due to that I've done alot of reading up on shit.

But I'm not even getting into an elitist point, because none of it is set in stone, so what I know isn't any more valid than what you know. All I really dislike is when people automatically demonize marijuana, and telling the OP the risks involved is a good thing (great actually), but it seems alot of times its blown out of proportion on this board.

I wasn't meaning to call "you" out so to speak, I'm just really sick of people on this site letting they're own views and opinions get in the way of helping someone.
Yes, Inhaling smoke is bad for your lungs
Yes, there is possibilities of marijuana making mental illnesses worse
Yes, there is alot of shit thats unknown about cannabis' affect on people (since its so widely changing)

Like I said, I just want OP to get the most correct answers possibly, and I think I may be guilty of assuming I had them, when I really don't.

If it means anything, I pmed OP about giving him/her links to read up on smoking cannabis and its affects, so they can make the right decision if smoking recreationally (and responsibly) is the correct choice from her.

As odd as it may sound, I had years of my life destroyed due to Marijuana use (or partly). Is it possible the plant had an affect on things taking a turn for the worse? Yes, probable actually.

But THE Biggest problem was my lack of responsibility, and thats it. Marijuana can be the greatest thing ever, and can be worse for you in some ways than crack, as long as you realize that it has to be used in moderation, and that some people just can't/shouldn't smoke, for what ever reasons.

Well I'm glad you helped the OP because I didn't really have any good advice for them to begin with

If you do plan on smoking it do it with moderation like I do.
