anti depressants and weed?

so im on cymbalta and im thinkin bout trying weed pretty soon. i just wanna make sure thats not gonna conflict with my medication first. So should i be ok?

There's probably little effect, although there are several precautions. For example, marijuana can induce anxiety in some individuals, which could cause odd behavioural results while taking Cymbalta. The only other effects would be indirect, such as blood pressure changes because when you first take marijuana, your BP increases but as you take more, it decreases. Cymbalta can increase your BP as well but it's an uncommon side-effect to have tachycardia or bradycardia. Overall, you'd be fine and from a metabolic view (i.e. comparing CYP450s), there is no drug-drug interaction.
