I dont know why - April 11th 2009, 10:29 PM

But I feel like im losing my best friend. We've been through so much together. I just dont know what it is. I guess shes just sick of me. I'll text her and she'l just ignore my messages she never used to do that. So I text her and im like why dont you ever text me anymore and all she says is I've just been really busy with track ok. And I get that but she played basketball and we talked all the time shes not doing track 24/7.

I dont know what to do. I dont blame her for not wanting to be friends with me anymore.

Hey Kendi,
Sometimes friendships go through ups and downs like this. I know me and my best friend at fourteen were somewhat like this. But we got back into the groves of things. If you and her are really close and hang out all the time. It is completely normal to do this because sometimes girls just need their space from each other. It will most likely go back to normal shortly.
But if it doesn't I am sorry, but friends to fade. They will come and go.

Always remember to put your happiness first.

Hi Kendi,

Not answering texts doesn't mean she doesn't want to be friends with you. Maybe things are just piling up for her right now and when she's not doing track, she's too busy with other things.

Try talking with her more in person and find time to hang out. I always find that texts aren't as personal as actually being with a person. I'm sure she'd appreciate the time with you and it would probably help you two become closer.

Nat.
