Transgender with unsupportive parents

Hi, I'm Kale. I'm 17 and am FtM. I am not out to more than 2 people. My parents don't support my ideas. I feel lost without anyone like me that knows what I'm going through.

I'm trans but unsure of my exact label.I'm in the same boat with the parents...when I really started to come out is after I went to college and joined some queer organizations . you are a man no matter what anyone says and you are not alone.

Then why do I feel alone?! Sorry... I just wish my parents could understand.

Re: Transgender with unsupportive parents

Seeing stats and figures is useless. Seeing other people on the internet talk about how much progress they've made because they've had the privilege of support in various forms, is even worse. We need concrete interaction with other real humans who know what it's like to be trapped and denied a support system.

Can you move out (or make plans towards doing so in the near future)? Reach out to resources in your community, or go live in a community where there's more resources? Are the two people that you're out to (assuming they're not your parents) supportive?
