I don't know - December 19th 2015, 10:28 PM

Today was my final day in college before I take a job. It's not fully what I want to do and I think I would quite like to stay in college for longer. All my friends are staying in college. I'm going to miss them all so so much. Mostly it's one guy who really matters. Since meeting him we've got very close and losing him makes me so sad not seeing him much. He has mild social disabilities and struggles to communicate all the time so I don't honestly know if we meet up how long we'd talk for before it would be awkward. It's different when you have the college course to talk about and see each other everyday but I wouldn't so it would be hard. The same with messaging, Skyping, calling after a while we'd run out of things to say. I'm naturally quiet aswell and struggle to find things to talk to anyone about after a while. He means so much to me and I'd hate to lose him but I don't know what to do

You'll come out stronger in the end, no matter. Always here to talk if you need to

Hey there,

Miles don't define friendships. If you wanna keep in touch with them after you leave and begin your job then do just that. Communicating is a two way street, they have to do a fair share of keeping in touch with you too. Maybe you could email each other back and forth if you don't have the opportunity to see each other.

To often I think we just become so comfortable with our everyday routine we find its the change that upsets us. Let's face it, we aren't all wired to adapt.
Remember you will meet and encounter new people and make friends with them.
