Question How to behave? - November 3rd 2017, 10:44 AM

Maybe someone can help me really quick. What are the rules when you visit a friend who has fallen asleep?
We said I'd visit her today. She has insomnia I think and was awke the whole night but I only saw that a few minutes ago. Now she doesn't reply and I havt the feeling she has fallen asleep which in itself is good. But I'm at the train station and don't exactly know what to do. Should I go to her place (if I find it, Ive only been there once) or should I wait at the train station?

It's ok to give in to an urge or make a mistake. You are only human and we all have our flaws. We all have our weak moments and we all make mistakes. Thats what makes us human.

Re: How to behave? - November 3rd 2017, 12:59 PM

You posted this earlier so you likely already made your decision. How did things go?

If you wanted, you could have gone to her place just to find it for future reference and in the meantime she may have replied to your message. There are a number of reasons she could have stopped replying, such as using the bathroom, taking a shower, cooking, or hopefully she did fall asleep if she was up all night.

There aren’t really any rules about visiting a friend when they’re alseep; it might just depend on your friendship and the personality of your friend if that makes sense. Next time you talk to her, you could ask what she’d like you to do if she falls asleep again.

Re: How to behave? - November 3rd 2017, 06:02 PM

Yeah I'd already decided by then. I went to a small cafe and drank some hot choclate and played on my phone for three hours and when I did not feel like waiting anymore I went to her home and rang the bell. I had decided that if she did not open the second time I ring then I will travel back home.
The second time she did open. She had really fallen asleep and had just woken up. She was so tired it toke her a few minutes to realice why I was at her door^^
Anyway she said I could habe just woken her up sooner but I'm rather glad she did get that sleep. Even if it was just five hours.
Anyway we had a great time and I promised her that next time I'll just wake her up
