They dont let me quit - September 6th 2018, 10:01 PM

I've been swimming for 4 years now. I went to a really good team where everyone is good. The problem is that im not. I never catch up. I never get any rest.
its hard and i want to go to an easyer team. My parents dont let me go. They say im not a looser or quitter. My dad also said he knows whats best for me(not true). Should i go to the easyer or stay in the hard team

P.s. i probably didnt write this in the wright place.

Sometimes staying with something, even if it is hard, makes it more exciting in the end when you are able to achieve things. On the flip side, if you don't get enough rest and are struggling it may be time to go to the easier team (you can always rejoin your original team later!).

Maybe you could take some time to look at the advantages and the disadvantages of staying on your current team and switching to an easier one. After you have thought thoroughly about things, you can see if you can talk to your parents again. Maybe you can mention that you're not getting enough rest and that leaving the team doesn't make you a quitter; it makes you stronger to be able to see what is best for you and take it instead of potentially staying in a tiring place.

you cannot withstand the storm
she whispered back
i am the storm.
