Prayers for my Grandma - January 17th 2009, 02:46 PM

My grandma hasn't been doing too well lately.
She's been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer for awhile now and has been in an assisted living place.

Just like 5 minutes ago, my cousin called me and told me to tell my dad to go to my grandma and that's she's not looking good at all. He was saying things about hours left...it was hard to understand him.

I know she hasn't been in the greatest condition and that she probably will die (as morbid as it sounds) but she really wanted to stay alive until sunday, because that's when her husband died.

I want you guys to please pray for her so that she can make it to sunday and ....if and when...she goes, pray that it's peaceful. Also if my family can make it through ok, I know it'll be hard on a lot of them
Thanks guys
Kaila

I'm really sorry to hear this, Kalia. If you need to vent about it or talk about things, please don't hesitate to.

Your grandma is in my thoughts.

Oh Kaila I'm so sorry. My Nan died of pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. It hits so quick! She was ill for ages but they didn't know what it was and then a couple of months after the diagnosis she was gone. I held ont o the thoguht though that she had lived a good and long life and was in so much pain at the end that it was nice she was finally at peace and could be with my Grandad after so many years of missing him.

I hope she make it to Sunday and I will pray for her tonight. Try to stay strong for your family, but don't be afraid to get upset. Remember her in the good times, not at the end. If you ever need someone to talk to or an understanding friend, I'm here. Lots of love x x x
