I want them to see that i'm still me - January 17th 2009, 09:22 PM

My mom brother and I have been fighting alot because i am a recovering self harmer. Tonight mom was mad at me and she was blaming me for me and my younger brother fighting. Why is every thing my fault? I'm only 17

Do they know why you SH? I'm glad to hear your recovering. Well done for that, you should be proud of yourself. Can yo talk to your mum? Id advise you to sit down and explain to her why you self harmed. Tell her you have made a big effort not to anymore and its hard but your sticking to it. Tell her you want her support and your trying hard to change. She's your mum hun, she loves you. I'd give it a try talking to her, if it doesn't work then at least you tried and she will understand you a bit better. All the best, if you need help just PM me x x
