Advice for College Bound Girl - August 5th 2009, 07:45 PM

I'm leaving for college at the end of the month. Whenever I leave home (camp, trips, etc.) without my family I usually can't sleep the night before my departure. My Dad is taking me to school, but I'm leaving my Mom and darling cats ( ahh I will miss my cats I don't want them to forget me!!) at home. I'm actually very excited about college, and I think that I will enjoy it! But the first day is always the hardest in these cases. I don't want to be exhausted on move-in day; it will just make me more sad to leave my family. It will be an emotional day for me...what is the best way to say goodbye and let go? Any ideas that will help me relax the night before/during the day? Thank you in advance, I appreciate it!
