Please Help Me Help Her =/. - October 10th 2009, 02:35 AM

My sister is eightteen, and I love her so much. So MUCH. But she left the house when she turned eighteen in January. She left early February. Since then, she's been doing drugs, and smoking a lot, and I'm so worried about her. She's lost soo much weight too. She's tiny now.
Last week, she got in a car accident, and the car was wrecked. She came out with several pains, and a couple bruised. But besides that she's alright.
At night, I just lay in bed and cry because I'm so worried about her. I'm religious, and she is not. So I can't get her to stop by faith. But I pray for her so often, and I don't know what to do anymore. I hate to see her like this even though she claims she's happy. I don't know what to do. /:
I have medications, but all this stress is just messing with my meds, and I'm getting worse. I love her, and I want her better so I just keep worrying, and it's taking a toll on me.

Please Help Me.
Any comments or suggestions are so much appreciated.

=/.
My parents have tried talking to her, but it never changes anything.
She claims to be happy. /:

I will walk with you, so you're never alone.

Please you guys.
I really need to know what to do.
I can't take her in this much pain anymore.
I know she can't be as happy as she says.
I look at her, and it seems like her life is falling apart.
Please help me.

hey
i know what it feels like to worry about sisters, i love mine too.
faith is a great support system when you feel worried, God is always on your side, and keep praying to Him, He wont ever leave you. He will hear your prayers and He will answer them. He will guide your sister through this. im not quite sure about how t stop ur sister, im sorry, but maybe try to relax a little, trust God. Your faith will hopefully relieve some of the burden of stress, and will get you through this.
take care xxx

Hey Kayla,

I too can relate to the situation you are going through with your sister. My sister had a similar "fall" a few years ago, and I know how hard it is, but it really is so important that she be ready to come to you, because it is virtually impossible to get them to understand and see your point of view if they are not ready for that. It took my sister a few solid months of completely ignoring the fact that she did have a family at home that loved her, but she has slowly turned herself around, sort of. It's still a day-to-day process and she is still all over the place sometimes, but she is better, and simply knowing that you will be there when she does decide to come back to you and your family is so important.

Good luck with everything!

We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

Love is all you need
