Is there anyone around who may be able to help you, such as a teacher or a good neighbor? Having someone on the outside talk to your Mom may help her realize she's putting you in the middle.

Family fights are hard but hang in there, hopefully this will blow over. If you can, see if you can go in your room and another room and not be hassled.

Hey there,
I'm moving this thread to Family and Friends forum as I feel it fits better there. Let me know if you disagree though. I agree with Steph. I think you should try and talk to your mom about how you are feeling so maybe she can help you feel a little better. If not, maybe try to find another way to relieve stress and anxiety? For me music, writing, drawing, and reading always helps. But just find something that works for you! I'm always here if you want to talk.
Take care,

Whatever it is, chances are I've been there.
If I can make it out, you can too.

Hay. I have been there before. But usually everyone is mad at me. If you can't take a walk i would suggest getting on here and PMing people or laying down and relaxing. Sometimes taking time to reflect and think can be really calming as well. Also you are welcome to PM me! I would love to give you some company!

I agree with everyone here. My first suggestion would probably to let everyone cool down. I mean, I know you're upset, but so are they, they wouldn't be fighting otherwise. So, let things settle a little. Find something to take your mind off of it.
Sometimes, when my family would fight before my brother and his girlfriend moved out and we fought, I would call a family meeting and calmly let everyone talk.

The best thing to do is to be honest with them, tell them that it's something they need to work out themselves, it's their business, and that you have no business or desire to be involved.

As for not letting you go for a walk, I guess that's just punishment for what ever you did wrong and got you grounded. I'm sure you can find other ways to relieve stress.

Good luck, I really hope things work out for you. I understand fights, especially with family, can be difficult. So hang in there, and feel free to PM me anytime I'd love to help. Again, good luck.

I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons.
And maybe we’ll never know most of them.
But even if we don’t have the power to choose where we come from,
we can still choose where we go from there.
We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.
